Manchester United are ready to hijack Arsenal’s £25million transfer move for Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin.

Red Devils boss sees the Frenchman as the perfect replacement for Michael Carrick who has struggled with injury this season. Arsenal were believed to be in pole position to land the defensive midfielder but United could persuade him to join them, according to the Mirror. Schneiderlin has outlined his intention to play in the Champions League next season. It is believed he will definitely move on this summer and has a host of options at his disposal.
